Death Knell for Obama Overtime Rule
The Obama administration's overtime rule took another step toward oblivion last week when a federal judge in Texas issued a summary judgment in favor of the Plano Chamber of Commerce and more than 55 business groups. The beleaguered rule, which was supposed to go into effect last December, would have extended overtime protections to millions of workers by more than doubling the minimum exemption salary.

This included adapting the organization's logo as a header and structuring the template, as well as working with the organization to sell them on the idea that less can be more. (Previously, the email would often be up to 10 screens long.) The email template was constructed primarily in a modular template tool provided by the email service provider, but also required some adjustment using straight HTML in the source code.
